Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Master Plumber to join our employee-owned company. You will serve as a key member of our team, providing services to our customers, collaborating with our sales team for proposals and projects, and training/mentoring more junior staff. To ensure success you need to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and perform your duties in a manner that maximizes profits while delivering high quality work. Top applicants are dedicated, competent, and have a strong work ethic.
A typical day will begin at 8:00AM and end at 4:00PM.
Master Plumber Responsibilities:
●Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures for gas, water, and sanitary lines
●Perform plumbing and general building maintenance and repair services
●Perform backflow testing for irrigation systems
●Make recommendations to customers on additional plumbing and maintenance needs
●Collaborate with estimators to bid jobs as required
●Train and mentor other plumbing staff members
●Maintain the license(s) required in order for Stahl to engage in the business the license covers, including but not limited to providing copies of all licenses held and ensure personal demographic information is accurate at all times
●Ensure Stahl remains in compliance with any and all applicable statutes and ordinances
●Meet with regulatory board members and / or licensing authorities as required
●Maintain state registration requirements with regulatory authorities as applicable
●Participate in continuing education opportunities as applicable
Requirements:
●10+ years of plumbing experience in both commercial and residential settings
●Active Master license
●High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent.
●Excellent understanding of plumbing industry technologies and advancements.
●Valid drivers' license.
●Outstanding organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
●Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
●Available to work extended hours on occasion, if needed.
●Ability to lift 50 lbs.
